Creepy Mystery Behind James Worson, the Disappearing Man

On September 3rd, 1873 James Burne Worson, a man from Warwickshire, England, literally disappeared into thin air, leaving no trace as to how it happened, or where he went. Or so the legend goes. 

James Worson had accepted a challenge to race, in record time, from the town of Leamington to the town of Coventry, a 20-mile trek. He had been boasting of his foot skills and then was asked to prove them, so, with sporting good spirits, he set about to do just that.


Two friends, Hammerson Burns and Barham Wise, followed behind in a horse-drawn gig. Burns brought along his camera. Worson was never out of their sight, and would often turn around while running to exchange some friendly words with the two riders.


Running in the middle of the road, Worson managed the first few miles cheerfully, laughing and carrying on animated conversation with his challengers, when unexpectedly, his footing gave way and he stumbled, falling forward to the ground and then giving out the most ungodly scream. Without any warning, before Worson had time to collide with the ground below him, he disappeared into thin air, leaving nothing behind.


Wise later said, "It was the most ghastly sound ether of us had ever heard." But as Worson pitched forward with that terrible cry, instead of falling to the ground as he appeared to be about to have done, he completely and totally vanished in mid-fall, before ever striking the ground. The road itself told the story and Wise took the pictures to prove it. There, in the soft dirt, were Worson's footprints.They led down the middle of the road, looked as if the runner stumbled, and there they disappeared. A search was called and the locals scoured the area for James. The bloodhounds used in the search were strangely reluctant to approach the spot where Worson disappeared. He was never seen or heard from again.

Xiaomi Redmi 1S Gone out of stock in Just 3.4 Seconds

Xiaomi the New Trouble for Indian Smartphone Vendors. On Tuesday, Xiaomi has on its third sale of Redmi 1S.

Xiaomi said that the 40,000 pieces of Redmi 1S sold in 3.4 seconds.

Flipkart's Mi page notes that the Registrations for the next flash sale on September 23 for the Redmi 1S will begin on 6pm IST Tuesday.

Flipkart also claimed that around 3,50,000 people registered for the third sale of Redmi 1S. Flipkart also said that the customer needs to register again for the next sale.

The company, also referred to as 'China's Apple', had halted the Mi 3 flash sales in India to focus on the Redmi 1S, but said it would resume the sales at some point in the future.

Indian economy is growing this year- FICCI's report

As per FICCI's latest Economic Outlook Survey, Indian economy will expand by 5.6 per cent during 2014-15.

Apple received record break 4 million pre-orders in 24 hrs

With more than 4 million advance orders of its new iPhones in the first 24 hours, Apple breaks his own record. Existing users can update their phone with iOS 8 on Wednesday. 


After Friday deliveries of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will starts, but it will take time to deliver all orders . But you can buy a iPhone on walk-in basis at Apple retail stores.


Last year, Apple sold 9 million phones in the first three days they were on sale.


The phones will initially available in countries like US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK Availability will expand to more than 20 additional countries a week later.
